Subject: Fw: Homage to Luis Posada

"The Cuban exile community recently gave a public homage to Luis Posada, as described in this forwarded message. The enclosed photo shows Posada receiving a plaque from U.S. Representative David Rivera and Coral Gables Mayor James Cason, with Luis Conte Agüero acting as MC.

The Herald did not cover this announced activity demonstrating Cuban community acclamation for Mr. Posada. In contrast, the Herald recently sent two reporters, Alfonso Chardy and Juan Tamayo, to Texas to cover Mr. Posada’s immigration trial.

This is classic Herald yellow journalism by focusing on negative aspects of Mr. Posada and other anti-Castro militants while doing a whitewash on accused Castro spies, like Marifeli Perez-Stable, who is your editorial contributor.
